“ LOVED this place! Such a special atmosphere. Very refreshing. More geared towards breakfast. Lunch is more burgers, sandwiches and salads. However, I had avocado toast. Eggs on top...cooked to your liking. Marinated cherry tomatoes on top of eggs, placed on top of avocado toast. DELICIOUS! Will definitely return. ”

“ Came to Uvalde for some camping supplies. Starving and The Local Fix was recommended at their new location. Perfect timing! Happy Hour is from 2-5. We ordered four appetizers and enjoyed them all. In order starting with our favorite: Asian Chicken Lettuce Wraps, Blackened Blue Ahi Tuna, Firecracker Calamari, and Fried Green Tomatoes. Note: You have to order at the counter and they will bring food out to you. Not as relaxing as a regular waiter, but still worth the visit. Happy Hour was a great value, including a mimosa. Also ordered bread pudding (not pictured) and a homemade cookie to go. Did I mention we were super hungry? ”
“ Here in Uvalde for work and came across this place on google maps. Breakfast was awesome and served fast. I grew up in the South eating biscuits and gravy. The biscuits and gravy here were top-notch. The biscuit was light and fluffy. The gravy wasn’t too heavy and had great flavor. I included eggs over medium and a side of bacon. I’ll definitely be back if I’m down this way again. ”

Been for lunch and dinner and haven't been disappointed Alfredo is excellent and even the side dish is a generous portion. Baked potatoes are delicious and will recommend omelets all day, every day. Drip coffee in the am, cocktails for pm. Friendliest staff around! ”
